In December 2022, I embarked on my second project with Vishwa Seghal, a client I had previously worked with on a car listing directory website. After experiencing the success of our first project together, Vishwa reached out again, this time with an entirely new venture: an online learning platform for Forex Trading.Â
The vision was clear—create a platform where aspiring traders could gain knowledge, and experienced traders could share their expertise. It wasn’t just about a website; it was about building an environment that could empower traders around the world.
The concept behind Money in Trading was nothing short of ambitious: to provide a comprehensive educational resource for Forex trading. The platform needed to serve two primary purposes.Â
First, it had to offer high-quality educational content for beginners to learn the fundamentals of Forex trading and advanced strategies for more experienced traders. Second, it had to be a platform where experts could upload their own courses, contributing their knowledge to a growing community.
The challenge, however, was not just about creating a space for education—it was about creating a secure, reliable, and well-organized platform where users could not only learn but engage with the content, instructors, and other students.Â
Vishwa’s request was clear: the website should have a seamless experience, where users could access materials easily, while ensuring that instructors could manage their content with ease, and admin approval would keep the quality in check.
The primary audience for this platform was anyone looking to understand Forex trading—whether they were beginners, intermediate learners, or even advanced traders. The world of Forex is vast, and learning it can be daunting without proper guidance.Â
Vishwa wanted to make this journey accessible to all, with courses tailored to every skill level. The platform’s ability to host external instructors with their own courses also meant that the audience could access a variety of teaching styles, perspectives, and areas of expertise.
This diverse audience needed a flexible, well-structured platform where they could take control of their learning path. The ultimate goal was to create a community of engaged learners, and that’s exactly what I set out to achieve through this website.
As we dove into the development, I focused on creating features that would support both learners and instructors, ensuring that the platform was both functional and secure:
From the start, Vishwa had a very clear vision for the design: it needed to be beautiful, engaging, professional, and most importantly, responsive across all devices. The Forex education space can often feel overwhelming, so I focused on creating a clean, user-friendly design that would make learning feel accessible and enjoyable.
I started from scratch, creating a layout that would allow learners to easily navigate through the courses, find relevant materials, and track their progress. Every page was designed to be simple, organized, and functional, while also being visually appealing. The design needed to inspire confidence in the users, reflecting the quality and professionalism of the courses of
The most significant challenge I faced during this project was ensuring that the video content was secure. Video piracy is a serious concern, especially when dealing with paid content, and Vishwa’s request to prevent downloading posed an interesting challenge. However, I was able to integrate a secure video streaming solution that protected the courses while maintaining a smooth user experience.
Additionally, designing a platform that was both comprehensive and easy to navigate required balancing content overload with simplicity. To achieve this, I structured the site to be intuitive, with clear calls to action and easy access to all available courses, discussion forums, and learning materials.
After just 12 days of intensive work, the website was launched. The final result was exactly what Vishwa had envisioned: a secure, user-friendly, and professional platform that was ready to host a community of learners. The website successfully achieved its goal of empowering users to learn forex trading while also offering a secure space for instructors to share their expertise.
Post-launch, the website quickly gained traction, with positive feedback pouring in from users. The course approval process ensured the quality of the content, and the secure video streaming system kept the courses protected from unauthorized downloads.
I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this project. The website is exactly what I had in mind—visually appealing, functional, and secure.Asjad did an outstanding job bringing my vision to life.
